Artist Brandi Blower draws inspiration from her upbringing and more currently the urban landscape she calls home. With a degree in interior design, Brandi often cites Frank Lloyd Wright, Jackson Pollock, Picasso, and the Art Deco era as major influences on her creative mentality and ability to make artworks that catch the eye.

Rhonda Gentry’s oil paintings are all about color! Color that creates emotion and grabs the viewer with joyful brushwork, textures, and composition.

“…Color and pattern are always first and foremost. Unexpected use of color is the most appealing and gratifying element in my work and others seem to enjoy it too…At a recent showing I heard someone say ‘these are happy paintings.’ Exactly!…” states artist Rhonda Gentry. She was a founding member of the Greater Geneva Art Guild which she currently supports in the role of secretary.

Artist Amy Woodbury studied painting with George Rocheleau, M. Ivan Cherry, and Florence Singers — all former Evanston Art Center teachers. Her work includes a variety of subjects: figural, abstractions, portraits…still lives, nature,…essentially whatever comes to mind.

“Lately I’ve been incorporating paper into my work, working it like paint…” states artist Amy Woodbury.
